Dutch artist making handmade lino prints, drawings, and paintings in rural Sweden
I create handmade lino prints, drawings, and paintings; creatures, worlds, and colors born in my head, somewhere between reality and nonsense.
​
I take inspiration from graphic design, vintage interiors, toys, unusual animals, nature, and whatever happens to be lying around in my world.
​
When I’m not making art, I’m in the garden, baking, exploring thrift stores, listening to doom, stoner, and psych music, or hitting the road with our camper.
​
At Raven Call Studio, all of this comes together: my work, my obsessions, and my imagination. Step in if you dare.
the studio
Raven Call Studio is a spacious old barn in the Swedish countryside, slowly transformed into a warm and creative place to work, make and gather.
​
It’s where I keep all my printing tools, paper, paint, odd collections and works in progress.
There’s a large custom-made worktable (made by my partner) for printing and drawing, a cosy sitting area, a small kitchen corner for coffee and lunches, and even space for family and friends to stay over.
​
The studio has a relaxed, open, atmosphere with plenty of room to spread out, experiment and spend long days making things without feeling rushed.
